Kalyanpur H/S School is a renowned and an oldest School in Kalyanpur area under Teliamura Sub-Division,Khowai Tripura. Late Ram Kumar Debbarma was the founder of this School.In princely era,he had established this Institution,with encouragement of then Prince Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur,in his own effort for the development of rural education in Kalyanpur locality. He had donated land of 7.81 acre for the emerging this School.So he was given title ’Thakur’ by the Prince, and the School was named by his own name “Ram Kumar Thakur J.B School” in the year 1928 AD then it had been upgraded in 1965 as a High School and changed its name as Kalyanpur High School and also in 1978 upgraded as a H.S(+2 stage) School.
It has also Examination Center of Madhyamik and H.S (+2Stage) in favour of students of the locality to overcome their problems of financial or far distance from District or Sub-Divisional Headquarter centers.
